DRM'S BAZAAR MARKETS LAUNCH THIS APRIL

From April, Distillery Road Market (DRM) will transform every first and third Thursday of the month to showcase some of the region’s best growers, makers, and food operators with the launch of DRM’s Bazaar Markets.

Kicking off on April 7 and 21, from 4pm to 9pm, DRM will launch its fresh new market concept for 2022 to the public as it activates across the 17,000 sqm precinct every month.

Local vendors from across SEQ will include a mix of fresh produce growers, arts and crafts makers and artisans, flower vendors, homewares and more, and visitors can also enjoy the enticing fare of onsite outlets Sugar Creek Smokehouse and Posadas Cantina each time they visit.

“We are pleased to be delivering our patrons more of what they want,” said Kenton Campbell, CEO of Tonken Property Group, which is the project developer for DRM.

“The success of our Trucks and Tunes events last year, has set the tone for new and more enriching market experiences and events for 2022.”

Kenton, who is also the Founder of DRM’s anchor tenant Zarraffa’s Coffee, said the ever-evolving vision for the precinct is to deliver a localised food and entertainment-centric experience that is influenced by some of the greatest markets in the world.

"DRM’s Bazaar Markets is about celebrating ‘made’ and ‘grown’ philosophy where we showcase and celebrate some of the region’s best growers and makers and truly support local,” said Kenton.

“We’re actively on the hunt for kindred marketeers and food vendors to join our community, as we prepare to welcome thousands of guests to our precinct every month.”

DRM’s Bazaar Markets will come to life every first and third Thursday of the month, commencing April 7 and 21 from 4pm to 9pm.

With both indoor and outdoor seating, the Bazaar Markets will offer locals drawn from Brisbane to the Gold Coast an experience closer to home, while welcoming visitors from all over to Australia's newest lifestyle destination.

With over 600 car parks available at the precinct, DRM is located advantageously along the Gold Coast/ Brisbane growth corridor in the rapidly growing Logan City and is both visible and easily accessible from the M1 Motorway.

“Our Bazaar Markets are designed to offer guests a unique experience every time they visit. We want it to be the place you come to grab a bite to eat with your family, go pick up a gift for a friend, or enjoy a unique shopping experience from our local artisans and crafters.”
